War of The Corpses is honestly one of the most creative manhwa I’ve read in a while. The plot feels fresh and unexplored, and it actually works. It pulls you in fast and keeps you interested without feeling forced or overcomplicated. What really brings it all together though is the characters. Every character has a compelling background and origin, and none of them feel wasted. Even side characters get enough focus and screen time to feel just as important as the main cast, which makes the world feel a lot more alive. The pacing is also really well done. It moves at a speed where things don’t drag, but it never feels rushed either. It’s the kind of pacing where you can easily imagine it being adapted into an anime without major issues. With the amount of chapters out right now, there’s honestly enough content for a full season. And the art is just MARVELOUS. The thick linework and monotone color palette fit the tone perfectly and blend really well with the world. It gives everything a distinct look that stands out without trying too hard. Overall, it’s just a really well put together manhwa that does a lot of things right. Definitely worth reading.
