Synopsis
The world has become a game. Humanity is forced to participate in a divine game, and a mysterious phenomenon known as the Void Abyss has appeared across Earth. The entire world watches every expedition into the Abyss's lower floors, hoping to uncover the secret hidden at its deepest level.
Lin Du was the first player in history to conquer the 100th floor of the Void Abyss. But just as he was about to claim his reward, the lieutenant he trusted most betrayed him, casting him into certain death. On the brink of dying, a being calling itself a God forced him into an irreversible contract.
A hundred years later, Lin Du awakens on the Abyss's upper floors. Reborn in a reconstructed body, he's evaluated as nothing more than a Level 0 weakling.
The strategies he once created have become textbook doctrine. The teammates who betrayed him are now celebrated as the world's saviors. And the truth behind what happened has long since been buried.
It's meh but kinda like it
I'm giving it 3 stars because I'm being merciful about how sloppy this story is. Analysis: If you like overpowering main character that somehow manages to beat and overpower anything, (with the addition of plunder/taking skills/items) then you'll definitely like this. Or if you like OP MC with betrayal/revenge, then read this. The characters are one-dimensional, only being needed for the plot and extra side-characters, with a tiny few exceptions. The plot is well, betrayal and revenge, which is a very typical and niche, used all around for basic, common manga. The pacing is absolutely horrendous (opinion), because what do you MEAN we skip from killing a few mobs and side characters to the powerful villain in a few chapters like that's genuinely stupid. The art is the only good factor in this sloppy story, somes scenes look decently good I suppose and others are mild. Conclusion? Pacing is bad, characters are one-dimensional, plot is stupid, and art is good. I do recommend turning off your brain when reading this.
