Sword God High School: The Talentless Underachiever Becomes the Strongest
刀神ハイスクール〜才能ゼロの劣等生、魔神に魅入られ最
Synopsis
Demons drawn to evil energy attack humanity, and only Zamashi, warriors blessed with spiritual power and given divine blades by the gods, can resist them. Under the protection of these warriors and their supreme leaders, the Blade Emperors, peace is maintained.
In a world where spiritual energy is everything, Kamikiri Haruto is despised as a cursed outcast completely devoid of power. Despite his status, he loses his life trying to save others beyond his capability. This death leads him to strike a fateful deal with a god of calamity, opening a brand new path for him as a Zamashi.

Nothing groundbreaking but so far pretty good. It has the potential to be really good but hasn't really done anything to differentiate itself from other similar titles. Its characters are pretty standard, as is the setting and art. The MC is a bit different from most in that he's driven by a selfish desire to be accepted rather than revenge or altruism. Could get stale but also leaves room for being somewhat unique. The power system hasn't been explored much yet, but it does seem to have defined boundaries which also gives the fights potential aside from just looking cool, which plainly is probably necessary since while the art is fine it's just fine. No one will read this just because it has nice art.
