I regret reading this honestly. The main character becomes exactly what he disliked, his own father. His mother was killed, mainly because of the father's neglect. The yin‑energy girl is forced into a sexual situation, the narrative treats it as justified, which feels like abuse of power. Like his father, the MC has multiple women under his control, and the story often frames them as tools, power-ups, or political assets. Concubines compete for his favor, which he doesn’t prevent, and sometimes even encourages indirectly to maintain control. There’s constant tension hinted among concubines, and the narrative suggests that jealousy, rivalry, and manipulation will continue. If you like a weak MC who gets OP later on and never faces challenges, has a harem and trophy wives whose whole sole value and purpose is to serve the MC, this is for you.
